Stacked Basset Hound Wind Chimes

Our Wind Chime Basset Hounds are made of 3/32 in. steel and have a "powder-coated" finish of Rust Brown or Weathered Iron. "Powder-coating" is not only beautiful, but is highly resistant to chipping or scratching. The Wind Chime Bones are cut from 1/16 in. steel and then acid-washed. They are sprayed with clear satin lacquer and have a natural color. With time and tinkling music, they will rust but this will not detract from the natural beauty of our Wind Chimes. Strung with leather, the overall height is 20 inches.

Basset Hound Yard Stake Wind Chimes


We really love these Wind Chimes! We created them for a particular customer ... she wanted tinkling music in her Garden but there were no places from which to hang Chimes. We know you'll enjoy them too! The main stand is made of sturdy 3/8 inch diameter rod. The Basset is cut out of 3/32 in steel and the chimes are different lengths of steel pipe. Overall height is just over 4 foot, including the 6 inches that go into the ground.
We have allowed the surface to rust slightly and then sprayed it with clear satin lacquer. You can paint your chimes or allow the lacquer to wear off in order to achieve a beautiful natural rust patina.

Basset Hound Triangle Dinner Bell . . . not that most Bassets need a call to Dinner.

This is a fun item... and if you ring the Triangle every time the food bowls are full, your hounds will soon learn to come in answer to the bell. When our hounds are sleeping outside, they awake to the bell easier than to our voices. It's an easy to teach trick.

		The Basset Dinner Bell measures 20½ inches from the top of the Triangle to the Basset's Paws. It is heavy...hand forged from ½ inch diameter steel. The Basset is cut from 1/16 inch steel.
We have sprayed the Dinner Bell with lacquer to inhibit rusting. Eventually it will acquire a beautiful patina of rust unless you continue to spray it. (You could get fancy and paint the Basset to look like your favorite hound.) We use stout leather so you can hang it indoors or out.
