The Bright Red Bone has a tough "Powder-Coated" finish.
It is made of 3/32 inch steel and measures 10 inches X 4 ¼ inches.

The 1/8 inch steel plate mechanism that holds the bone to your mailbox is zinc coated so it will not rust. You don't have to paint it, unless you want it to match your mailbox.

As we said, it is simple to install on any mailbox and comes with easy to understand instructions as well as all the bolts and washers that you will need.
