The word "Antique" no longer means something that is more than 99 years old. We find that the younger generations call the phone we "old" people used an "Antique." Such things are really "Collectibles"- along with the toy in the McDonald's Meal purchased last week.

Although, the things in this section may not truly be "one of a kind," you cannot order multiples of the same item. The Antique or Collectible in the photo is the very one you are ordering.

As everyone knows, "condition" is all important when putting a value on an Antique or Collectible. We fully describe the item, pointing out its flaws rather than dwelling on its wonderfulness. We do not polish and clean to the "nth degree." First, some collectors want their items in a "natural" condition with old patinas intact. Second, we don't have the time to clean and polish and refinish. We will scrape off the cobwebs and barn dust, but that toaster or stirrup will show the years of use. With our pictures and descriptions you can accurately judge condition.

In regards to price... Antiques and Collectibles are valued differently across the U.S. (Basically this is due to supply and demand.)

Fads, Seasons, Books and Magazines on Antiques and even Movies (think about Titanic Collectibles)... any of these can create spikes in the overall price of Antiques. In general, however, prices appreciate with each passing year.
